New Zealand = Free Pickup from Auckland. 

Courier Shipping in NZ - $5 for Rural or Urban.

Shipping: is via local postal services once dispatched from the origin, and hence shipping times can vary seasonally.

We ship items to New Zealand, Australia, International which includes (India, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, USA, Mexico, Europe, South Africa, South America. If you would like to find out about additional countries, please check with us first.

You can also request for shipping cost on submitting the order at checkout by choosing the “Enquire shipping cost” for Express or local shipping which is based on the weight and size of the parcel.

PROCESSING TIME

Total Delivery Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time

Processing Time: The processing time varies depending on the specific product with the average processing time approximately 1- 5 business days for Local or overseas delivery; however, it can also be affected by the item's stock status. If your order includes popular items experiencing stock availability issues, the order can take between 5 - 20 business days to process or we will discuss with you separately.

Delivery takes 2 -5 days to arrive within New Zealand and 10 - 30 days worldwide, though in extremely rare circumstances can take longer. We try to send out small parcels overseas so don’t be alarmed if you don't receive all items in a large order at once. When checking out online, please supply us with a physical address to receive the item on delivery.


RETURNS OR EXCHANGES

Returns: Our returns policy lasts 20 days. If 20 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We cannot guarantee returns or refunds or exchanges due to low prices. To avoid any disappointment please choose the item carefully. Defective items may be replaced by the supplier but full details will be needed to action further but we cannot guarantee that a full refund or replacement would be granted. No refunds, replacements offered if the item is damaged during transit, delivery or in possession. A repair could be offered for additional charges and you would be responsible for all shipping costs.

Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded hence please choose your items carefully.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and contact thecrossroad.co.nz directly

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. If you are shopping for products or services (chess lessons) the payment process is the same including terms & conditions, policies.

Please contact us by email and ensure to have the pack in the original condition with all tags and packing to process the exchange. Please note you will have to bear the shipping cost to and fro as for return we do not offer free shipping locally. Drop off at the store is an alternate option but please contact us prior to delivery.

The price displayed on an individual product page, regardless of currency denomination, is the current price you are liable to pay to Thecrossroad.co.nz, excluding shipping. When converting prices to another currency or when an item is charged to a credit card, a slight price variation of between 2 and 5% may occur due to fluctuating exchange rates and credit card company/bank charges. Once an order is posted we take no responsibility for charges incurred at receiver's end as this can vary depending on the rules of customs in each country.

Secure: We accept payment via PayPal, Credit Cards through Shopify Payment or direct Bank Transfer for online order. Etfpos and credit card option is available at the store. You may incur any additional fees apart from our purchase price when using currency conversion(credit card) / Bank Transfer outside New Zealand which we are not responsible.
