FIFA World Cup 2026: Mbappé Strikes Twice as France Beat Senegal 3-1

Our thoughts.....

We virtually travelled to France to support Les Bleus and witness Kylian Mbappé's magic on the football pitch. He certainly did not disappoint, showcasing his trademark brilliance by scoring twice against Senegal.

France secured a convincing 3–1 victory, with the team's second goal coming from Bradley Barcola. Senegal's Ibrahim Mbaye opened the scoring for his side, netting the team's first goal of the FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign.

As France's World Cup journey continues, we also acknowledge GM Alireza Firouzja, the Iranian-born French chess grandmaster renowned for both his exceptional performances on the chessboard for France and his distinctive sense of style. His achievements reflect the diverse sporting excellence that France continues to showcase on the global stage.

On a personal front, alongside my passion for chess, football continues to be a major interest, particularly during the FIFA World Cup, a passion that has been nurtured through my family.
