An eventful conclusion with GM Magnus Carlsen emerging victorious in the Esports Chess World Cup 2025 over GM Alireza Firouza and propelling Team Liquid to the forefront.
The 1.5 M prize fund is divided among the top 16 players, with Carlsen securing the largest prize of $250,000. GM Firouza of Team Falcons reached the finals undefeated but was unable to proceed against GM Magnus in a 3-set final.
