Chessroad Tournament Winners for March 2025

Saturday, 29 March 2025, the regular monthly Juniors Chess Tournament was held in Glenfied, Auckland.  Emerging young talent in chess stayed focused on the chessboard, strategizing to checkmate the King. 

The games were very competitive with a score of 4.5 out of 5 earned by Nolan Hu and Agastyer Iyer tying for first place.

Daniel Coles and Aarav Balaji tied for 2nd place.

Fiona Li won the Best girl in March tournament and also tied for 2nd place.

In the under 8 category, Senadi Jayathilaka and Albert Wang  secured the gold and silver medals.

The young participants displayed impressive strategic skills and focused determination throughout the tournament.

Our congratulations to all participants in the event. It was intriguing to witness strategic chess moves during the game.
