Chessroad Tournament is organised for Juniors of all levels who are beginners, Intermediate or advanced players.
The organisers will provide an initial provisional internal rating to all new players based on the NZCF rating.
This tournament is organised to improve Juniors chess knowledge and to unleash the chess skills for over the board tournaments, giving the opportunity to play with internal and external players.
Chessroad Tournament is held monthly, upcoming event on Saturday, 18 January 2025.

Timing 2.30pm to 5.30pm (Games start at approx 2.45pm and after the players meeting)

Entry + Playing Fee: $30 if paid by 15th Jan ($35 if paid on or after 16th Jan which includes late fee)

- Prize Money - $150
- Multiple Prizes and Tiebreaks: Players may not win more than one cash prize in a tournament – the highest cash prize will be paid and other prizes will be passed down to the next highest-placed player. Cash prizes will be shared by eligible players on the same score and ties will not be broken.
- TieBreak: will apply for Medal winners in the Under 8 age category
- Lucky Dip Prizes: This will based on the entries
